Life, Currently.

1 // Someone very dear to me and my boyfriend passed away last Thursday. It was very hard for me to coup at first. We had visited her last weekend and she was so joyful & full of laughter. It was difficult to think she was now gone. Though, I'm also happy I had a chance to see her before that tragic day and hear her laugh again. I'm very thankful for that.

2 // I was finally admitted into the EKG program at my college! I waited a year and a half to get enrolled, so I'm really psyched. I'm going for my certificate first before I go after my Associate's. My hopes are that I'll have a job by next Summer, but we'll just see what happens. I can't wait to start my classes!

3 // The family had a BBQ/Birthday party over the weekend. My little cousin turned nineteen. She's slowly catching up to me. It's funny to think that I remember seeing her for the first time at one of my birthday parties. She was just a baby, too. Time flies really fast when you're not paying attention.

4 // I got an A on my Interpersonal Communication mid-term! There were some skeptics in the room who didn't believe in me, but I proved them wrong and managed to ace the test anyway. I'll be honest, I forgot I had a test so I didn't study at all! I'm one lucky person.

5 // Next week, I'll be celebrating my one year anniversary. We're going to watch the play, "Wicked". So excited. Our anniversary is technically in August, but the play won't run until then so we decided to celebrate early. He's the sweetest man I've had a chance to meet and I'm a better person for having him.

These past weeks held many twists, good and bad, but I'm still very thankful for everything. Every day is a chance to become wiser and remember the great things versus the terrible. Today, I choose to smile and I hope you do too. And, Happy Tuesday!
