Today was not a very nice day. I was on my way to school when my stepdad's truck popped a tire, scaring the shiz out of me and forcing us to get out of the freeway. We were all okay but I was half an hour late to class, and let me tell ya... it's impossible to run when it's so hot, you feel like you're melting your little tush off! Nick was a sweetheart enough to pack a meal for two, but I unfortunately had to turn it down and run on home.
Sorry, honey. September in San Diego so far feels like July on over-drive. No sweet cuddle sessions with blankets and pie for me just yet, but I'm excited for what Fall will bring this year. Nick and I are planning to move out together in a few months as well as getting a car in about three weeks. New, grown-up things are happening this Fall and I'm so happy to be able to document everything on my humble space in the interwebs.

Autumn is my favourite; I love Halloween, crunchy leaves and orange trees, wearing hats and big scarves and all the fireworks. It's a good job it comes after summer else I'd just be miserable I reckon! Popped by to let you know that I kept thinking about you yesterday (not as weird as it sounds I swear) because my dad took me to a sweet little town on his motorbike and I kept seeing tonnes of horses. What does your blog name actually mean? xx

Delete1. My utter love and fascination with Greek mythology. Ares, the God of War, has a chariot with four horses engulfed in flames and I loved how they symbolized power and elegance.
2. My family and I actually live surrounded by horse ranches. We see them all the time, galloping down the street.
